ARC Company Profile

How ARC can help YOU

Whether you need to replicate historic terra cotta or cut stone, ARC has the experience and skill to satisfy your requirements. Exact replications are produced by a process that casts glass fiber reinforced concrete into molds, to provide the look and feel of terra cotta or carved stone. Surface finishes can replicate gloss, matte, or stone finish, with the true look and feel of the material it replaces. The careful selection of aggregates allows a variety of textures and finishes.

Our Mission

ARC's mission is to be the preferred supplier of Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) castings for historic replication in the Eastern United States. We work closely with Architects, Engineers, Owners, and Designers to achieve classical appearance using modern composite materials.

Company Profile

Since 1988, ARC has supplied replacement castings for both historic buildings and new construction for projects in the Eastern, Southern, and mid-Western United States. ARC provides the perfect replacement for historical terra cotta and carved stonework.

Our capabilities include making molds of existing pieces, sculpting replicas from photographs, samples, or drawings, or from new architectural drawings. Our skills include CAD 3D drafting, sculptural modeling, mold-making, casting, and surface finishing. The experienced craftsmen in the mold, production, and finishing shops assure careful workmanship.

GFRC is proven to provide far longer life than other substitute materials. It combines the strength of concrete, with reinforcement by alkali-resistant glass fibers, much as steel rods serve to reinforce concrete. The use of advance polymers in the product provides rapid curing, and resistance to moisture infiltration.
